"even though it might mean nothing"....I thank God you are there to bring meaning to all of this waste,if you have to be there at all. Yours are the eyes that will see, that will capture that special instant of history that can bring meaning to the futility of war. Your pictures of the people of Afghanistan are poignant and moving. Your pictures of your comrades are painful to me as a father as I see sons and daughters not soldiers.
