Truly historic. You are an eyewitness. I guess the world is an eyewitness; however, you are there talking to the citizens.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your sentiment in your previous post: it may not have much meaning. The people have to rise up and decide if they have the will.
Nice photo sequence, and your post "even though it might mean nothing" is a good read.
"even though it might mean nothing"....I thank God you are there to bring meaning to all of this waste,if you have to be there at all. Yours are the eyes that will see, that will capture that special instant of history that can bring meaning to the futility of war. Your pictures of the people of Afghanistan are poignant and moving. Your pictures of your comrades are painful to me as a father as I see sons and daughters not soldiers. And the shots of rockets flying in nightvision are a sober reminder of where you are and what you face.
